O..sorry,令大家誤解了,那個vaild list只是我打錯而已..由於幾天也連不上來,所以到現在才能say sorry~~

偷雞攪好了...
在samba.conf裡,加了些option
read only = yes
create mask = 660
directory create mask = 777
write list = @group
vaild list = @group
hide unreadable = yes
就這樣了事吧....

現在要設一部fileserver,但有個特別的目綠權限我總是想不到方法去設定.
顧客說一聲:[
1)我要每個user都有自己的home drive之外,還要有另一個drive可以給其他所有user可以寫資料入去,
2)但就只可以那個drive的owner才可以read/delete.其他人只可以write,不可以read and write其他人寫入去這folder的file.]
example:
有三個user:jonna,janet,james
每個人都有自己的home drive:/home/$user
每個人都有自己的personal folder:/home/mailhome/$user
以/home/mailhome/james為例,jonna,janet,janes都可以寫資料入去這folder.
如果jonna寫資料入這folder之後:
-james要可以read/write/delete
-janet不可以read/write/delete這file
-jonna可不可以也沒問題
就是這麼,應該如何設?用samba share的.

剛花了兩小時幫他做trouble shooting....
最後的原因是..../dev/null 的permission問題
把它改作crw-rw-rw root:root /dev/null 就ok啦

parent proxy不是這意思,parent proxy 是指當client在你的proxy找不到資料時,你的proxy會先向上層的parent proxy取.但卻不一定要設定parent proxy,也不是每間isp也左提供.如果要用isp的proxy做parent proxy時,最好先通知isp.
access.log空...可能你的proxy沒運做,or conf裡改了去他處or設了不log or client根本沒用你的proxy..

人不應該養成 "一定" "絕對" 這種肯定句的習慣 , 應該常用 "為什麼" " 可能" 這樣的方式 ..
sorry,我由始至終也沒過絕對這些字,也沒說過速度== intel or 3com這些:

我只是想比較realtek chipset與intel chipset是有分別的,以intel pro100 S server adapter例:

我相信一個設計好的chipset絕對會影響其處理packet的能力.當然還有很多方面會有所影響.
如果realtek與pro100S出來的結果也是一樣的話,那為何server通常會用for server的NIC,這當然與NIC的performance有關.
當然如果是client,那用realtek or pro100S也沒多大關係.
如果是我英文差,令你感到言語上有所誤會或得罪.對你說聲sorry.言語沒有計對性,只為了攪清觀念而已.
