主題: RH9 no allow upper case username

A orginal server is running RH7,some username were created with upper case.After migrate to RH9,upper case username no longer to login anymore.

After check some reference,discover that linux 9.0 was unable to create user account with upper case.

Have any possible solution to fix it?

force to use lower case...  ^_^

Thanks...i think only can select between downgrade to RH8 or change username to lower case....

you'd better try to figure out the reasons behind the rule, in other word, do ask yourself WHY?
