Hi!
I have here a USB wireless lan (802.11b) adapter that comes just with windows drivers (that works very well), but I want to use it with my linux red hat 7.2.
It recognize that exist a usb device, but do nothing more. I tried to install the wlan but I failed to do that.
So, if someone in the world already have installed this adapter, please send me some comments about the way to do the thing.
Thanks,
Adi

I think the best way to get the linux drivers is asking SMC.
So, please, write to the smc support at FeedbackTS@smc.com and ask them to make the drivers for the SMC2662W.
Thanks,
Adi!

I have same problem.
I asked SMC for the drivers and they only told me to visit wlan web page.
There's nothing we can do with linux and SMC266W at the moment.
I hope I am wrong!

I got one of those..
If they dont make the drivers.. ehh...
On the packet of the wlan, it says, drivers for, windows.. and more popular os'es..
is'nt Linux popular enought?
